program details
It is performed not only on the lumbar spine, but also on the cervical and thoracic spine. In both cases, nerve compression is removed using an endoscopic instrument specially designed for MED.
The wound that cuts the skin is 17 mm, but this surgery causes less damage to the surrounding muscles than the smallness of the wound.
Since the camera resides inside the body, it is possible to peer into areas that cannot be seen from above.
During the surgery, images from the camera are projected on a 4K-resolution monitor, allowing for a good field of view.
Surgery is performed under general anesthesia and takes approximately one hour, allowing the patient to return home in two days and one night.
