facility details: The hospital was opened as “Chigasaki Tokushukai Hospital” in Chigasaki city, Kanagawa prefecture in 1980. In October 2012, the name was changed to “Shonan Fujisawa Tokushukai Hospital”, and it was newly-built and moved to Fujisawa city. The total floor area was extended up to approximately 3-fold. It enhanced the emergency medicine section with 24-hour system. In addition, various new departments were added, including department treating cancer, perinatal and fetal medicines, and new approach in highly advanced medicine was started. Furthermore, preparation for opening Center for Regenerative Medicine is in progress, and we plan to actively get involved in regenerative medicine using stem cells.
