This clinic specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and outpatient surgery of lymphedema.
We provide appropriate examinations and treatment to contribute to
"improving the quality of life "of those who suffer from lymphedema after cancer treatment.
Our clinic is located on the 16th floor of the Abeno Lucias Building in Tennoji/Abeno, the southern gateway to Osaka City, and from the clinic windows you can enjoy a panoramic view of Abeno Harukas, Tennoji Zoo, Tsutenkaku, Osaka Dome, and more.
Access is excellent and you can come to our hospital without having to transfer from Kansai International Airport.
This is a specialized clinic that specializes in lymphedema treatment, from conservative treatment to surgical treatment.
The hospital performs approximately 280 surgeries per year, making it one of the facilities performing the most surgeries in Japan.
For conservative treatment, we have a system in place to provide a wide range of lymphedema treatments, from the introduction and adjustment of compression therapy by staff who are qualified as elastic stocking and compression therapy conductors, to lymphatic drainage by lymph therapists.
For surgical treatment, we have introduced an ultra-high frequency ultrasound diagnostic device (Fujifilm Medical SonoSite Vevo MD), one of only a few in Japan, and a high-resolution surgical microscope system (MITAKA MM51) that allows for up to 77x magnification, aiming to provide more effective lymphatic flow reconstruction surgery (lymphaticovenous anastomosis; LVA).
Using these cutting-edge medical devices, surgery can be performed with small incisions of about 15 mm, taking about 30 minutes per area.

Lymphaticovenous anastomosis (LVA) [OSAKA-ABENO LYMPHEDEMA CLINIC]
Day surgery for lymphatic venous anastomosis using lymphatic vessels and veins in good condition
Ultra-high frequency ultrasound diagnostic equipment (SonoSite Vevo MD), high-resolution surgical microscope system (MM51) with a maximum magnification of 77 times, body composition analyzer (Inbody770) capable of measuring the water content of each part of the limbs, and ICG fluorescence observation camera system (pde-neo) capable of diagnosing lymphatic flow disorders Surgical treatment program for limb lymphedema after cancer treatment. Lymphatic flow reconstruction surgery in the affected limb increases lymph flow and improves lymphedema. High-quality lymphatic vessels selected using ultra-high frequency ultrasound are anastomosed to matching veins in two or three locations. The surgery is performed under local anesthesia, and takes about 30 minutes per location.

Lymphaticovenous anastomosis (LVA) + combined treatment [OSAKA-ABENO LYMPHEDEMA CLINIC]
Lymphedema total treatment plan using lymphatic flow reconstruction surgery and combined treatment
Ultra-high frequency ultrasound diagnostic equipment (SonoSite Vevo MD), high-resolution surgical microscope system (MM51) with a maximum magnification of 77 times, body composition analyzer (Inbody770) capable of measuring the water content of each part of the limbs, and ICG fluorescence observation camera system (pde-neo) capable of diagnosing lymphatic flow disorders Surgery + combined treatment program for limb lymphedema after cancer treatment. Lymph flow is increased and lymphedema is improved by lymphatic reconstruction surgery in the affected limb. High-quality lymphatic vessels selected using ultra-high frequency ultrasound are anastomosed to suitable veins in two to three locations.
