Confirmation of Reception～Acceptance Check / Second Opinion
After confirming your inquiry or application, a JMHC representative will contact you. At the same time, we will check acceptance availability with affiliated medical institutions in Japan and find one that can accommodate you. Once we receive a response from the medical institution, we will inform you of the result. Finally, we will confirm your intention regarding whether you wish to proceed with treatment in Japan.
※Depending on the medical institution, a second opinion consultation may be required in advance.

Treatment / Stay Plan and Estimated Costs
Based on the treatment plan provided by the medical institution you have selected, We will provide a plan including the treatment schedule and whether a medical stay visa is required. We will also present estimated costs including treatment fees, accommodation fees, medical interpretation fees, and other related expenses.

If you agree to the plan and costs, please pay the full amount in advance. Our representative will provide details on payment methods. After confirming payment, we will issue an identity guarantee letter.

Please make your own arrangements for flights, hotels, and other travel needs.

Medical Consultation / Treatment
We handle various procedures required before and after treatment at medical institutions, as well as support during treatment and hospitalization. We also provide support for companions during hospitalization. Additionally, we arrange medical interpretation services for the day of your visit.

End of Treatment / Return Home / Cost Settlement
After treatment is complete, we will settle the costs. If there is a difference, we may refund you or ask for an additional payment. We will also continue to provide follow-up support for treatment after your return home as needed.

Confirmation of Reception～Notification of Medical Facility Confirmation Results
JMHC will coordinate with your desired medical institution to schedule your preferred date for the health checkup program you applied for. Once the checkup date is confirmed, we will inform you of the payment method for the checkup fees. We will also provide information on the medical questionnaire to be submitted before your arrival in Japan.

Arrival in Japan～Health Checkup Day Visit
As the check-in time on the day of the health checkup is often early in the morning, please arrive in Japan the day before and rest in preparation. Please follow the dietary restrictions on the day of the checkup and come to the medical institution. After arrival, please receive medical care according to the instructions of the medical institution.Please note that you are responsible for arranging your own flights, hotels, etc.

Delivery of health checkup results and Post-return follow-up
Your designated medical travel support company will contact you with your health checkup results. It usually takes approximately 1 to 1.5 months after your return home to receive the results. The health checkup results only indicate "suspicion" and the final diagnosis is confirmed by examination at a medical institution. In the unlikely event that suspicious findings are discovered, please promptly consider re-examination or treatment.
