Ultra-high frequency ultrasound diagnostic equipment (SonoSite Vevo MD), high-resolution surgical microscope system (MM51) with a maximum magnification of 77 times, body composition analyzer (Inbody770) capable of measuring the water content of each part of the limbs, and ICG fluorescence observation camera system (pde-neo) capable of diagnosing lymphatic flow disorders
Surgery + combined treatment program for limb lymphedema after cancer treatment.
Lymph flow is increased and lymphedema is improved by lymphatic reconstruction surgery in the affected limb. High-quality lymphatic vessels selected using ultra-high frequency ultrasound are anastomosed to suitable veins in two to three locations.
The surgery is performed under local anesthesia, and takes about 30 minutes per location. The treatment effect is further enhanced by combining intensive drainage treatment by a lymph therapist before and after surgery and adjustment of the elastic garment.
