Surgical treatment program for limb lymphedema after cancer treatment.

Lymphatic flow reconstruction surgery in the affected limb increases lymph flow and improves lymphedema.
High-quality lymphatic vessels selected using ultra-high frequency ultrasound are anastomosed to matching veins in two or three locations. The surgery is performed under local anesthesia, and takes about 30 minutes per location.

【Treatment Schedule】
If you have already been diagnosed with lymphedema:
The procedure is performed as a same-day outpatient surgery.
Suture removal is scheduled approximately 1 week after surgery.
A postoperative follow-up examination will also be scheduled.
As long as you avoid bumping or putting excessive stress on the treated area, you may enjoy sightseeing during your stay until the sutures are removed.
If you have not yet been diagnosed with lymphedema:
You will first undergo the【 Comprehensive Lymphedema Examination and Diagnostic Program】 at Osaka Abeno Lymphedema Clinic.
Based on the examination results, the physician will determine whether you are a suitable candidate for surgery.
