Osaka International Cancer Center was established in 1959 as Japan's first adult disease center specializing in cancer and cardiovascular diseases, and has steadily built up a track record of medical care over the past 60 years.
In March 2017, the center moved to its current location and changed its name to the "Osaka International Cancer Center."
