program details: This is a one-day comprehensive course that includes chest and abdominal CT scans as well as head and neck MRI/MRA examinations performed at Sakakibara Heart Institute.

To allow for a detailed evaluation of blood vessels and organs from the neck to the abdomen, measurement of visceral fat, and assessment of coronary artery calcification (calcium score), which is an indicator of atherosclerosis, this course incorporates advanced imaging studies such as CT scans and head and neck MRI/MRA.

day off: Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (Japanese national holidays and year-end and New Year holidays)

precaution, contraindication: Stop eating after 10:00 p.m. the night before (sugar-free water or tea is acceptable).
Come to the clinic on the day of the appointment still taking medications (only diabetes medications should not be taken on the day of the appointment).
MRI: Consult with us if you are claustrophobic. Consult with us if you have metal in your body (pacemaker, artificial valve, dental implant, Tattoo, etc.).

meal condition: ・Use of the Special Consultation Room and Private Waiting Area
・Transportation to Sakakibara Heart Institute by private car (CT and MRI examination are performed at Sakakibara Heart Institute)

cancelation fee: If you cancel between 14 and 8 days before the scheduled test date, 30% of the full cost will be charged.
If you cancel between 7 days and the day before the scheduled test date, 50% of the full cost will be charged.
If you cancel on the day of the test, 100% of the full cost will be charged.
Reservations can only be changed once up until 3 days before the scheduled test date (including the day itself).
After that, the full cost will be charged regardless of cancellation or change.
