Kameda Medical Center was the first medical institution in Japan to receive accreditation from Joint Commission International (JCI),
the US-based organization for international accreditation of hospitals. The Center has 31 medical departments which handle on
average at total of 3,000 outpatients per day, most being Japanese but many coming from overseas.
