SAISEIKAI OTARU Hospital
The Saiseikai Otaru Hospital is a community-based multifunctional hospital with a total of 378 beds, consisting of acute general wards, community-based comprehensive care wards, convalescent rehabilitation wards, and wards for patients with severe physical and intellectual disabilities. It offers seamless and consistent medical care from the acute to the recovery phase, focusing on regional needs across its 15 specialized medical departments.
The Saiseikai Foundation, established in 1911 (Meiji 44) by Emperor Meiji to provide medical assistance to those in financial distress, is Japan's largest social welfare corporation. Saiseikai Otaru Hospital was founded in 1924 in Temiya, Otaru City, as the Otaru Clinic. The year 2024 marks a milestone, celebrating its 100th anniversary.

Whole-Body Cancer Screening “DWIBS”.
Using an MRI machine, this test captures a wide range from the neck, chest, abdomen, and pelvis in a single session.
This screening does not require dietary restrictions, has a short examination time, and places minimal burden on the body.
