Day Surgery for Varicose Veins 【 The Varicose Vein Clinic TOKYO (Meguro Surgical Clinic)】
Japan's Leading Clinic for Day Surgery of Varicose Veins.
The Clinic Director personally manages every stage of care, from consultation and diagnosis to treatment and postoperative follow-up, providing minimally invasive treatment without incisions or sutures.
Meguro Surgical Clinic (The Varicose Vein Clinic TOKYO) is a specialized center that performs more varicose vein treatments than any other clinic in Japan. The Clinic Director personally oversees every stage of care, including consultation, duplex ultrasound examination, treatment planning, surgery, and postoperative follow-up.
During the initial consultation, 30 to 60 minutes are dedicated to carefully evaluating venous reflux and the severity of varicose veins using ultrasound imaging. Surgical treatment is generally scheduled for a later date and typically takes 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the treatment area. Patients are reviewed on the day following surgery.
Patients can usually resume normal daily activities, including bathing and exercise, from the day after treatment. This minimally disruptive day-surgery approach is particularly suitable for patients visiting Japan during their travels.
Conditions Treated
Varicose veins of the lower extremities, including:
Great saphenous vein varicosities
Small saphenous vein varicosities
Tributary varicose veins
Recurrent varicose veins
The clinic also treats patients with visibly enlarged or tortuous veins, leg cramps, leg heaviness or fatigue, stasis dermatitis, and skin pigmentation associated with chronic venous insufficiency.
Treatment Options
Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA)
Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
