During the initial consultation, 30 to 60 minutes are dedicated to carefully evaluating venous reflux and the severity of varicose veins using ultrasound imaging. Surgical treatment is generally scheduled for a later date and typically takes 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the treatment area. Patients are reviewed on the day following surgery. Patients can usually resume normal daily activities, including bathing and exercise, from the day after treatment.
