Surgical treatment is performed for herniated lumbar disc, which causes lower limb numbness, pain, back pain, and sensory disturbance in the lower limbs. The primary surgeon is Dr. Kota Watanabe, Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Keio University School of Medicine, and Dr. Kazuki Takeda, Assistant Professor.
