program details: A small amount of a radiotracer (FDG), which is similar to glucose, is injected into the body.
This test takes advantage of the fact that cancer cells consume more glucose than normal cells, enabling detection of cancer presence. It allows for examination of a wide area of the body in a single scan.
This course includes not only PET-CT but also tumor marker testing.
A specialist physician will review the results, and if any abnormalities are found, we will coordinate smoothly with the relevant departments for further evaluation and care.

requirement, condition for apply: Not Eligible (Exclusion Criteria)

Individuals who require assistance with daily activities

Those who have undergone surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation therapy within the past month

Those who have had a gastrointestinal barium study within the past week

Individuals with an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD)

Individuals with full-body tattoos

precaution, contraindication: Please avoid exercise or strenuous physical activity on the day before and the day of the examination.
Do not eat for 6 hours prior to the examination.
You may drink only water, tea, or warm water. Sweetened beverages are not allowed. Do not consume candy or chewing gum.
Please bring approximately 500 ml of drinking water or tea (in a plastic bottle) for hydration on the day of the test.
Take your regular medications as usual. However, do not take oral diabetes medications or insulin injections starting 4 hours before the examination.
