MRI/US Fusion-Guided Prostate Biopsy 【Kanazawa Medical University Hospital】

By fusing MRI with real-time ultrasound imaging, highly accurate targeted biopsy can be achieved.

More accurate diagnosis helps avoid unnecessary biopsies and maintain the patient’s quality of life (QOL).
Compared to conventional systematic biopsy, this method provides more accurate and reliable diagnosis. Targeted biopsy has been shown to have a significantly higher cancer detection rate than systematic biopsy.
This procedure is performed by Dr. Nobuyo Morita.
