Proton beam therapy for liver and pancreatic cancers requires precise evaluation and control of organ motion caused by respiration, as well as gastrointestinal peristalsis and the impact on surrounding organ functions, demanding a high level of expertise and experience.
At our hospital, we use a U.S.-made proton therapy system with world-class precision to deliver highly concentrated radiation doses to tumors while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissues.
The treatment period typically ranges from 2 to 6 weeks and is generally conducted on an outpatient basis.
