Travel dialysis (Chubu Tokushukai Hospital)

Chubu Tokushukai Hospital has been newly built and moved on 1st of April in 2016. The space is twice bigger than the former hospital and the building constructed with isolation structure, and has a heliport in the roof of the 12th floor. In front of the hospital, there is a largest commercialized facility in Okinawa, Ion mall Okinawa Raikamu, and many domestic and overseas tourists visit there. Our dialysis center accepts a lot of foreigners.

Chubu Tokushukai Hospital was relocated to a newly constructed facility on April 1, 2016.
The new hospital is twice the size of the former facility, and the building is designed with a base-isolation seismic structure. A heliport is installed on the rooftop of the 12th floor.

Located directly in front of the hospital is AEON Mall Okinawa Rycom, the largest commercial complex in Okinawa Prefecture, which attracts many visitors from both Japan and overseas. Our dialysis center also accepts many international patients.

Appointments are available from Monday to Saturday in the afternoon session. Patients will be guided to the examination room between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM.

Requirements An interpreter must accompany the patient during hemodialysis treatment. The patient must be in a stable condition and undergoing regular dialysis treatment.

Hemostasis belt (compression belt for dialysis)

Comfortable shoes that are easy to wear and prevent slipping or falling

Earphones or headphones (for connecting to the TV)

Recent dialysis records and/or a referral letter

Sleepwear is provided at the facility. However, you may also bring light and comfortable clothing such as pajamas or a T-shirt if you prefer.
