Chubu Tokushukai Hospital was established in April 1988 as a core local hospital in Okinawa-shi at the center of the main island of Okinawa. It aims at enhancing advanced medical care, emergency care, acute/chronic care and preventive medicine to create a "society where everyone can receive the best medical care anytime and anywhere without anxiety."

Established in April 1988 in Okinawa City, located in the central part of Okinawa’s main island (population: approximately 120,000), our hospital has been committed to creating a society where anyone, anytime, and anywhere can receive the best medical care with peace of mind.
We strive to enhance advanced medical care, emergency medicine, acute and chronic care, as well as preventive medicine.

On April 1, 2016, the hospital relocated to Kitanakagusuku Village and significantly expanded its scale. In 2017, we obtained accreditation from Joint Commission International (JCI), a globally recognized healthcare accreditation organization. We undergo reaccreditation every three years to ensure that we continue to provide safe, high-quality, and optimal medical care.

In the same year, the hospital was designated as a Disaster Base Hospital in Okinawa Prefecture. We installed one of the largest rooftop heliports in the prefecture, enabling rapid response to large-scale disasters and facilitating advanced emergency medical care for critically ill patients from northern Okinawa and remote islands.

As of October 2023, the hospital has 408 beds, and we remain committed to providing the best possible medical care tailored to the increasingly diverse needs of our patients.

• Travel dialysis (Chubu Tokushukai Hospital)

  Chubu Tokushukai Hospital has been newly built and moved on 1st of April in 2016. The space is twice bigger than the former hospital and the building constructed with isolation structure, and has a heliport in the roof of the 12th floor. In front of the hospital, there is a largest commercialized facility in Okinawa, Ion mall Okinawa Raikamu, and many domestic and overseas tourists visit there. Our dialysis center accepts a lot of foreigners.

  Chubu Tokushukai Hospital was relocated to a newly constructed facility on April 1, 2016. The new hospital is twice the size of the former facility, and the building is designed with a base-isolation seismic structure. A heliport is installed on the rooftop of the 12th floor. Located directly in front of the hospital is AEON Mall Okinawa Rycom, the largest commercial complex in Okinawa Prefecture, which attracts many visitors from both Japan and overseas.
