Our department performs more than 700 surgeries annually, including stent graft procedures and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), making it one of the leading centers in Japan in terms of surgical volume.

In recent years, we have actively promoted minimally invasive treatments that are less burdensome for patients. These include minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS) performed through small incisions, robot-assisted cardiac surgery using the da Vinci system, stent graft treatment for aortic aneurysms, and endoscopic surgery for atrial fibrillation (Wolf–Ohtsuka method).

We continuously strive to improve and refine our advanced surgical techniques.
