Cardiac catheterization is a treatment that widens the narrowed part of the coronary artery. The procedure is performed to treat ischemic heart disease by widening part of the coronary artery that is stenosed by atheroma in order to increase the blood flow.

In patients with ischemic heart disease, the coronary arteries narrowed by atherosclerotic plaques are expanded to increase blood flow to the heart.

Eligibility Criteria/Exclusions for Treatment
Postoperative follow-up examinations are performed at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year after surgery using catheter examination. After that, imaging with a 256-slice multi-detector CT scanner is required. For patient acceptance, please send the medical images by email. Our physicians will review the images and provide an appointment schedule only for patients who are considered eligible for treatment at our hospital.
