Surgical Treatment for Spinal Cord Tumors【New Spine Clinic Tokyo】
This treatment program is led by Dr. Ken Ishii, who has extensive experience as a university professor in treating spinal cord tumors and related disorders.
Dr. Ken Ishii has extensive experience in treating spinal cord tumors, having performed over 500 procedures as a university professor.
A web consultation will be conducted before the patient arrives in Japan. During this consultation, a differential diagnosis will be made based on symptoms and imaging findings, and appropriate examinations and treatment plans will be proposed.
Additional preoperative examinations may include myelography, contrast-enhanced MRI, CT scans, and angiography. The hospitalization period varies depending on the diagnosis, severity, and surgical procedure, but it is generally around 3 to 4 weeks. However, rehabilitation can be extended if necessary.
