Multidisciplinary Treatment for Dropped Head Syndrome【New Spine Clinic Tokyo】

This treatment program is led by Dr. Ken Ishii, who has extensive experience as a university professor in diagnosing and treating Dropped Head Syndrome, a rare disease even in Japan.

Dr. Ken Ishii has treated over 650 cases of Dropped Head Syndrome as a university professor. He has developed a unique rehabilitation program for Dropped Head Syndrome (SHAiR Program), which has been reported in international medical journals. This program, along with specialized injections and intravenous therapy, is provided on an outpatient basis.

Rehabilitation is conducted once a day for approximately one hour, with a total of 5 to 15 sessions, depending on the patient's stay in Japan. If surgery is necessary, we propose minimally invasive surgical options at affiliated medical institutions.

Dr. Ishii has performed over 120 surgical procedures for Dropped Head Syndrome, with an average hospitalization period of approximately four weeks.
