The Department specialises in malignant tumours of the digestive system and boasts the highest number of cases and treatment results in Japan, particularly for oesophageal cancer, oesophagogastric junction cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, hepatocellular cancer, bile duct cancer, gallbladder cancer, metastatic liver cancer and pancreatic cancer.

For advanced cancers, we offer multidisciplinary treatment using a combination of chemotherapy + perioperative chemotherapy such as molecular-targeted drugs + immune checkpoint inhibitors.

Eligibility Criteria/Exclusions for Treatment
Medical information in Japanese or English. Medical interpreters are required for translation. Various test and imaging data (including findings). Cancer screening is generally not performed.
Precautions / Contraindications
Provide patients with all medically relevant information, including treatment options, so that they fully understand their medical care and can voluntarily choose and participate in their treatment.
Explain the name of the disease, its condition and prognosis to the patient in advance.
