facility details: Koga Hospital 21 was founded in September 2002. The hospital strives to improve the level of medical care and has become well established and known to the local people for its excellent amenities. Our inpatient ward consists of the general unit with 160 beds and recovery (rehabilitation) unit with 40 beds. We attach importance to cancer testing and treatment, having opened a PET diagnostic imaging center before others in 2003 and radiation therapy center introducing tomotherapy in 2008. In 2010, department of urology was added as well as a lithotripsy room　in the following year. Plans to further improve the hospital functions include addition and betterment of high care (HCU), palliative care, and chemotherapy units.
