Treatment / Rehabilitation Methods
Physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, swallowing rehabilitation, support with orthoses and assistive devices, training using robotic systems and advanced rehabilitation equipment, and support for daily living and social reintegration

Program details
At Fujita Health University Hospital, physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language-hearing therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals work together to provide rehabilitation tailored to each patient’s disease and individual living circumstances. Rehabilitation focuses not only on improving physical function, but also on eating, communication, activities of daily living, and participation in society.

When appropriate, the use of advanced rehabilitation equipment and robotic technologies may also be considered. Based on a comprehensive assessment, individualized goals and rehabilitation programs are developed. An appropriate plan is proposed after confirming factors such as whether rehabilitation will be provided on an inpatient or outpatient basis, the patient’s medical condition, and the feasibility of travel.
