The Essence Course is a one-day comprehensive health screening program that combines basic examinations—including urinalysis, fecal occult blood testing, blood tests, physical measurements, visual acuity and hearing tests, blood pressure measurement, electrocardiography (ECG), physician consultation, chest X-ray, pulmonary function testing, and abdominal ultrasonography—with upper gastrointestinal endoscopy (gastroscopy).
While focusing on the early detection of upper gastrointestinal diseases such as stomach cancer, esophageal cancer, and gastric/duodenal ulcers, the course also provides a well-balanced assessment of overall health.
It is ideal for those undergoing a comprehensive health checkup in Japan for the first time or for those who wish to complete their examination efficiently within a limited stay in Japan.
