Facelift Surgery (Surgical Facelift) 【KAI CLINIC TOKYO】

A surgical facelift that lifts not only the skin but also the deeper facial tissues responsible for sagging. By addressing the underlying cause of facial laxity, the procedure is designed to achieve both natural-looking and long-lasting results, restoring a more youthful facial contour.

For patients seeking a more definitive improvement in age-related facial sagging than can be achieved with thread lifts or energy-based treatments, our clinic offers surgical facelift procedures.

Rather than simply tightening the skin, our facelift technique addresses the SMAS (Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System)—the deeper anatomical layer primarily responsible for facial sagging. By treating the underlying support structures, we aim to achieve natural-looking, long-lasting lifting results with a reduced likelihood of early recurrence.

Incisions are carefully placed along discreet lines extending from the front of the ear to behind the ear to minimize their visibility. Using advanced plastic surgical suturing techniques, we pay meticulous attention to scar quality and postoperative healing.

As a clinic specializing in facial bone contouring surgery, we are uniquely positioned to evaluate both the facial skeleton and the overlying soft tissues as a single integrated structure. This enables us to provide comprehensive treatment plans for patients experiencing soft tissue sagging after facial bone contouring surgery or for those considering a combination of facial contouring surgery and facelift procedures, based on detailed anatomical assessment.

Specialty
Facial Contouring (Orthognathic / Bone Contouring Surgery)
We offer facial contouring procedures that reshape the facial skeleton, including zygoma reduction (cheekbone contouring), V-line surgery, mandibular angle reduction, and genioplasty (chin surgery). By emphasizing overall facial harmony, we strive to achieve natural and refined results.

Combined procedures, such as facelift surgery and pelican surgery (submental soft tissue contouring), are also available when appropriate.

Rhinoplasty
We provide a full range of rhinoplasty procedures, including nasal tip refinement, septal extension grafting, alar reduction, augmentation rhinoplasty, and revision rhinoplasty. Rather than focusing solely on the nose, each procedure is designed to complement the balance of the entire face.

Eye Surgery
We offer a variety of eyelid and eye contour procedures, including double eyelid surgery, medial and lateral canthoplasty (inner and outer corner surgery), droopy eye surgery, sub-brow lift, and ptosis correction. Each treatment is individually planned to create natural-looking eyes that harmonize with the patient's facial structure and expressions.

Both consultations and surgical procedures are available for patients 17 years of age and older.
If you visit the clinic with a child, please be accompanied by an adult who can supervise the child in the waiting area.
