This outpatient treatment activates the patient's own immune cells and administers them by intravenous infusion or subcutaneous injection. Treatment is performed once every two weeks for a total of four sessions. Hospitalization is not required, and the treatment is generally associated with few side effects.

【Treatment Method】
NKT Cell-Targeted Therapy (Cancer Immunotherapy / Cell Therapy / Regenerative Medicine)

Uses the patient's own immune cells after activation.
Administered by intravenous infusion or subcutaneous injection.
Outpatient day treatment.
One treatment every two weeks (4 treatments in total).
No hospitalization required.
Generally associated with minimal side effects.
Treatment Area / Organ

【Whole Body】
This therapy is not limited to a specific organ and may be used for cancers arising in almost any organ system.

【Program Overview】
NKT Cell-Targeted Therapy is an innovative form of cancer immunotherapy that artificially activates Natural Killer T (NKT) cells, which play a central role in regulating the immune system. By activating these cells, the therapy aims to modify the immune environment surrounding tumors and promote a sustained immune response against cancer cells.

The safety and clinical efficacy of this therapy have been demonstrated in clinical trials jointly conducted by Chiba University Hospital and RIKEN (The Institute of Physical and Chemical Research). More than 500 patients in Japan have already received this treatment.

At our clinic, the therapy is provided under the supervision of physicians with expertise in regenerative medicine developed through experience at the Kyoto University Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA).

The treatment is available for patients at all stages of cancer and for almost all types of cancer, and may be used alongside standard cancer treatments when clinically appropriate.

Because the therapy utilizes the patient's own immune cells, it is generally associated with very few side effects. Treatment is performed as an outpatient day procedure using intravenous infusion or subcutaneous injection, eliminating the need for hospitalization.
