A physician with extensive experience in early detection of colorectal cancer and endoscopic treatment using state-of-the-art equipment will conduct the examination. Polyps will be removed on the spot. If a condition requiring hospitalization is found, we will promptly refer you to a specialized facility, including our affiliated hospital, the Cancer Institute Hospital of JFCR.

Precautions / Contraindications

★ Due to the effects of throat anesthesia, eating, drinking, and smoking are not allowed for approximately one hour after the examination.
★ If a biopsy is performed, dietary restrictions, alcohol consumption, and physical activity will be limited on the same day. Please be mindful of any dining or social plans.
★ If you have medication that you take on an as-needed basis, such as for seizures, please bring it with you on the day of the examination.
★ Do not eat or drink after 8:00 PM on the day before the examination. ※For afternoon examinations, fasting begins at 7:00 AM on the examination day (dietary restrictions apply).
★ Do not inject insulin for diabetes.
★ Do not take oral diabetes medication.
