Mitaka Healthcare Clinic Immune Memory–Inducing Dendritic Cell Therapy
Immune Memory–Inducing Dendritic Cell Therapy
【Target Patients】
Patients with all types of solid tumors
Immune Memory–Inducing Dendritic Cell Therapy is an advanced personalized cancer immunotherapy designed to train the patient’s own immune system to recognize and remember cancer cells.
In principle, dendritic cell therapy is administered as a single treatment course.
In this treatment, monocytes are collected from the patient’s blood and cultured and activated into dendritic cells, which act as key regulators of immune responses. These dendritic cells are prepared to present tumor antigens and are then returned to the patient’s body.
Once administered, two types of T cells—cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs), which directly attack cancer cells, and helper T cells—are activated. These T cells work cooperatively to recognize and destroy cancer cells.
Additionally, the therapy aims to promote the formation of immune memory, enabling the immune system to respond rapidly if the cancer recurs.
For dendritic cell therapy to function effectively, alkalization of the body and antioxidant therapy are considered important. Therefore, treatments aimed at improving the patient’s constitution and the tumor microenvironment are also provided.
While conventional treatments mainly focus on reducing tumor size, our immune memory–inducing dendritic cell therapy aims to educate the immune system and establish a long-term cancer surveillance mechanism, supporting the patient’s potential for long-term survival.
