Essential Course (1-day program) 【Keio University Center for Preventive Medicine】
A team of highly specialized medical professionals trained at Keio University Hospital provides examinations designed for early detection, leveraging the expertise unique to a university hospital.
The Essential Course is a comprehensive one-day program designed for individuals with limited time, enabling a full-body health assessment.
In addition to the basic examinations, it includes tests for the cardiovascular system, thyroid, brain and upper abdominal MRI, and tumor markers, making it effective for the early detection of lifestyle-related diseases, cerebrovascular disorders, and cancer.
For women, the program also includes gynecological examinations such as cervical cancer screening, breast cancer screening, hormone balance assessment, and bone density testing.
One of the center’s strengths lies in its high-quality examination system, led by medical professionals trained at a university hospital. Endoscopic and imaging examinations are conducted by leading specialists, utilizing advanced AI-based imaging technology and quiet MRI/CT systems equipped with theater-like features to reduce claustrophobia, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience.
Patients can undergo examinations in a private and refined environment, and a physician will explain the results directly on the same afternoon. For those seeking more comprehensive screening, optional PET-CT examinations can be arranged on a separate day.
