This course allows for a high-precision gastroscopy and colonoscopy to be performed together in one session. For those who have difficulty taking laxatives, we also offer a no-laxative option.

Basic Plan:
After taking a laxative at the hotel or in the clinic, both gastroscopy and colonoscopy will be performed simultaneously.

No-Laxative Plan:
During gastroscopy, a laxative is directly administered into the duodenum using an endoscope, eliminating the need for oral laxative intake.
※ After the laxative is administered, it takes approximately 2 hours for bowel movements to cleanse the intestines. Colonoscopy will be performed afterward. As a result, the total time spent in the clinic will be around 4 to 5 hours.

Precautions / Contraindications

★ If a biopsy or polyp removal is performed, there will be restrictions on diet, alcohol consumption, travel (including business trips and flights), exercise, and work for at least 1 to 2 days. Please adjust your schedule accordingly.
★ Do not eat anything after 8:00 PM the day before the examination. Also, avoid high-fiber vegetables and fruits with seeds in your meals on the previous day.
★ Individuals with chronic constipation or those who regularly use laxatives may take longer to cleanse their bowels. It is recommended to follow a low-fiber diet starting one week before the examination. Laxatives can be prescribed if necessary.
★ If you have medication that you take as needed in case of seizures or other conditions, please bring it with you on the day of the examination.
★ Do not inject insulin for diabetes.
★ Do not take oral diabetes medication.
