Program Summary
"Our clinic provides immune cell therapy based on the act on the safety of regenerative medicine(ASRM) established by the government.
The name of regenerative medicine and the plan number of the regenerative medicine supply plan are as follows,
① Immune cell therapy with arterial administration of immature dendritic cells for malignant tumors(PC5220033)
② Immune cell therapy with intravenous administration of αβT cells for malignant tumors(PC5220034)
➂ Immune cell therapy with percutaneous administration of immature dendritic cells for malignant tumors(PC5220035)

Target disease: cancer

Treatment Features :
The three major treatments for cancer are surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. However, cancer immune therapy has been getting attention as a fourth option recent years. This treatment method extracts immune cells from the patient's body, activates and multiplies them outside the body, and then returns them to the body, thus controlling cancer growth by activating the body's immune system. In our clinic, we provide treatment using immature dendritic cells and αβT-cell, either combined or administered independently. Immature dendritic cells are dendritic cells collected in an immature state before maturation. Immature dendritic cells can uptake antigens from dendritic cells and dull the cancer cells, they grow into dendritic cells and work for the role in tumor immunity.
Methods of administration
We administer immature dendritic cells via arterial or percutaneous administration, and αβ T-cells via intravenous infusion.

【Significance of Arterial Injection of Immature Dendritic Cells】
Our clinic is a medical institution capable of administering immature dendritic cells via arteries. Immature dendritic cells can be delivered directly to cancer cells by inserting a catheter to the feeding artery of the cancer. As arterial injection can approach lesions deep inside the body, this method is safer than those treatments through percutaneous administration (direct puncture)."
