Our hospital is a general hospital under the direct management of a Nippon Medical School (NMS) founded in 1876 and having a leading history and tradition in Japan. Our hospital is established in 1914 and has 28 clinical department.

The hospital provides advanced acute care, including emergency services utilizing doctor helicopters for trauma, stroke, and cardiovascular emergencies. It is designated as a Regional Cancer Care Core Hospital, with all departments actively engaged in delivering safe, high-quality cancer care aimed at improving both survival outcomes and quality of life.

From 2015 to 2017, it was selected as a core hospital for accepting international patients, providing medical interpreter services and supporting both residents and visitors from overseas. In 2025, it was also designated as a subsidized medical institution for medical interpretation services.

The hospital also features a minimally invasive robotic surgery center, equipped with two da Vinci systems, and performs a large number of robot-assisted surgeries.
