    We have extensive experience in the treatment of various types of abdominal hernias. For morbid obesity, which is a major cause of inguinal hernia and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD, often associated with hiatal hernia), we reported the first case in Japan of a robot-assisted surgery using the da Vinci system (Aichi Medical University). In addition to English, we are also able to provide medical support in Chinese through collaboration with the Department of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery at Kansai Medical University Hospital.

    In our brain screening program, we utilize brain MRI, amyloid PET, and neuropsychological testing to detect dementia at a preclinical stage. We also perform screening and diagnosis for other conditions such as depression and insomnia, in addition to dementia.

    With advanced diagnostic modalities such as amyloid PET, cerebral blood flow studies, brain MRI, comprehensive polysomnography, electroencephalography (EEG), neuropsychological testing, and blood tests, our center is staffed with numerous specialists certified by the Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as the Japanese Society of Clinical Neuropsychopharmacology, along with experts in dementia and depression. This enables us to provide accurate diagnosis, appropriate treatment strategies, and second opinions when necessary.
